Description
Moving beyond the hype, The Impact of AI in Supply Management explains how advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI can be responsibly integrated into procurement’s strategy, operating model, and culture. With a strong emphasis on trust, governance, and explainability, this book shows how AI becomes a structural capability—not a bolt-on tool—reshaping how procurement delivers value across the enterprise.
What truly distinguishes this work is its people-centered approach to intelligent procurement. With insights tailored for executives, practitioners, suppliers, and regulators, the book positions AI not as a threat to procurement professionals but as a force that elevates their strategic impact, resilience, and relevance. Readers will gain an end-to-end view of AI’s impact across spend analytics, supplier management, contracts, risk, and sustainability, leaving them equipped to lead with clarity, confidence, and responsibility in an AI-enabled future.
